Nature's Rhythms: Spring Equinox
Lets gather around a beautiful spring altar, unfurl from winter, plant seeds of intention & step lightly into a new season.
A celebration of Spring Equinox, the first day of spring in the astronomical calendar which is honoured by pagans, witches, nature lovers, spiritual people and more.
This workshop aims to support your mind, body and soul through our seasonal transition. Release, move and rest while connecting to the nature within and around you.
Starting with Tapping (EFT); stimulating acupressure points whilst repeating affirmations. A powerful healing practice from Traditional Chinese Medicine which can reduce anxiety, stress and release emotions. We will also be tapping along the meridians of the Liver & Gall Bladder that support the wood element and the season of Spring.
Following this we will be ‘sweeping’ the body of stagnation. Jumping on the spot (lots) to support the lymphatic drainage system - which plays a crucial role in maintaining our immune system, reducing inflammation, and promoting overall health. Practicing ‘Breath Of Joy’ to leave you feeling light and alive.
We will then move with our breath through a vinyasa flow. This will create some heat in your body whilst celebrating equal parts light and dark; as we practice both sun and moon salutations. This flow will continue to support and nourish the wood element in the body through specifically chosen postures.
It's now time to get snuggly as I guide you through a meditation, surrounding your senses with springtime, encouraging you to soften, let go, welcome in creativity, joy & plant seeds of intention from that space.
Our time together will end with tea, a sweet treat & oracle cards.
